INFANT BAPTISM

The Sacrament of Baptism is the gateway to all the sacraments. It is the responsibility of parents and godparents to model their faith by word and example, to help the newly baptized infant’s faith development and growth towards Christian maturity.

Prerequisites for Infant Baptism:

• The child has not celebrated his/her seventh birthday
• The parents/guardians and godparents attend a Baptism class

Frequently asked questions and answers

Baptisms are celebrated after Mass or privately. Baptism preparation classes are held monthly and are required for parents and Godparents of infants and children under seven.
